Digital skills programmes that produce certificates without employment are wasted investment. The difference is employer-aligned curricula, practical project experience, and post-training placement support that bridges the gap from graduate to employed professional.

Artisans and traders are the backbone of Africa’s informal economy—yet most digital skills programmes leave them out. Reaching them requires community-based training, vernacular instruction, and practical curricula focused on digital payments and e-commerce.
